Terms of Service

By accessing or using Maccordion (maccordion.com), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Maccordion is operated by Private Enterprise “ISMA-SERVICE” (ПП “ІСМА-СЕРВІС”), EDRPOU 33927324, registered in Ukraine.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Maccordion. If you are under 18, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using Maccordion, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Maccordion is a browser-based chromatic button accordion instrument. It uses your keyboard for notes and optionally your webcam to detect laptop lid movement for bellows expression.

We offer two tiers:

• Free: synthesis sound engine, full 72-button CBA keyboard, bellows physics, and octave controls.
• Original ($9.99): everything in Free plus authentic accordion samples recorded from a real instrument. One-time purchase, no subscription.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

The Original sound library is a one-time purchase of $9.99 (USD), processed by Stripe. All prices are shown in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your jurisdiction.

All sales are final. Because Maccordion delivers digital content immediately upon purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you waive any right of withdrawal that may otherwise apply under consumer protection laws, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Article 16(m)). By completing your purchase, you consent to immediate delivery and confirm that you understand this waiver.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your purchase, contact us at support@maccordion.com and we will work to resolve it.

Our content:the Maccordion software, design, branding, audio samples, and all associated materials are owned by Private Enterprise “ISMA-SERVICE” or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission.

Your content: any music you create using Maccordion belongs to you. You are free to record, share, and monetize your performances without restriction. By submitting video links through our promotion form, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to share and feature your submission for promotional purposes.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent payment, access controls, or rate limits
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Original sound samples
• Scrape, bot, or automate access to the service
• Interfere with the service or other users' experience
• Impersonate any person or entity

Maccordion may request access to your webcam for the bellows feature. Granting this permission is voluntary — the instrument is fully playable via keyboard without camera access. When granted, camera data is processed entirely in your browser and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Maccordion integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments) and Supabase (authentication and data). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services.

Maccordion is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Sound synthesis and bellows detection depend on your device hardware and browser capabilities, which we do not control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Private Enterprise “ISMA-SERVICE” shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 (USD), whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the site at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Maccordion after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine. If you are an EU consumer, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
